Did you know that the average parking meter generates between $150 and $300 worth of sales each day? District-wide, that translates into $212,000 to $424,000 in daily revenues. That makes it even more important that District employees park in garages and permitted lots.

Employees and residents can purchase parking permits for the City garages. It's affordable and a great way to avoid parking tickets at the meters.

Where can I get a parking permit?

You may apply for a permit at City Hall, 701 East Broadway, 3rd floor. Payments must be either cash or checks (sorry, no credit cards).

What are the rates for parking permits?

Surface Lots:
Monthly $40
Quarterly $115
Yearly $440k

Uncovered Garages:
Monthly $50
Quarterly $145
Yearly $550

Covered Garages:
Monthly $60
Quarterly $175
Yearly $650

24-Hour Reserved Spaces:
Monthly $100
Quarterly $300
Yearly $1200

Parking Tip! Permit sharing is allowed so if are a part-time employee, consider sharing a parking tag with a coworker. If you're sharing your tag for more than 7 days, contact City Parking at (573) 874-6368 for permission.
