Did you know that the average parking meter generates between $150 and $300 worth of sales each day? District-wide, that translates into $212,000 to $424,000 in daily revenues. That makes it even more important that District employees park in garages and permitted lots.
Employees and residents can purchase parking permits for the City garages. It's affordable and a great way to avoid parking tickets at the meters.
